Candles! week 3 of the 52 week project

WOW! Does any one else feel like time is just whizzing by? I have been so busy! I can not believe I did not do another post this week before our project Monday came back around. This has been such a wonderful week filled with my sons Birthday, My husband and my 13th Anniversary!!! We also bought gifts for some needy families and saw a wonderful play about the Saviors Birth! This time of year just put so much JOY in my heart!

This week our subject was candles! with a birthday this week I thought it was a great opportunity to take some candle shots,

This first one is mine.

This one is from Jess of Photography by Jess, I love how her son is looking at the candle. Fire just amazes my boys!

I love Aimees with White Daisy photography and how she did the same pic, but the bottom showing it blurred bokeh! so cool!

This one of the snow man from Jen Mesemerizing moments, just puts me in the Christmas spririt!

And Brookes from Brooke Beasley Photography, I love how you can see the wick is super hot and glowing with fire.

WEEK #2 of our 52 week project ~ APPLES

In an effort to keep things fun and fresh, our 52 week project is under way!!! It is a creative project, and is going to be FUN, FUN!!!!

Me and a couple other photographers are doing this creative project once a week for the next year. I am soooo looking forward to flexing my creative muscles!

Just a couple for mom, These two are so cute! I loved little miss and her fun personality, she was an explorer and I LOVED it. I also couldn't get enough of little ones tung, he stuck it out the whole time! LOL.

Sergey & Jaime's Lake Tahoe Wedding

Sergey and his family have this brilliant Russian accent that I love! Jamie just adores him and his family, and as I watched Jamies mom throughout the ceremony and saw how she talked and adored her daughter, My heart was full. I could just feel the happiness all around me! It was such a Joy to get to know Jamie, and as with most of my clients I know I gained a friend.

Rock that OCF!

A few weeks ago I went to Rock that OCF with Ali Hon. It was really fun! I was so hoping for some of those great sunset shots I always see of hers, but unfortunately it rained!! seriously can you believe it rained that weekend? It hardly EVER rains here!... Oh well! It still turned out great and I met a ton of new friends and got to shoot some stuff in the studio.

It feels like fall and I'm LOVIN it!

I just took a trip....

...down memory lane! I have not been to my old photography blog for a long time. It is about 3 years old! It had a different name and a different me! LittleKiwis Photography It was really weird to look at it. I am amazed at how far I have come. As I was looking back I was cringing at my focus, editing, posing lighting, exposure.... well the list goes on and on (LOL!!). But I was having so much FUN!! I still am and I am still loving photography, it has been so good for me. I have met so many great people and developed a skill and talent that is really fulfilling.

I am wrapping up a very busy season and so grateful for all the wonderful clients/friends I get to meet. I wish I could call it work.... but it's totally me time.

They stole my heart {KeriAnn Photography~ Placer county family photographer}

When I first talked to this family on the phone I knew we would have a great session... and then I showed up and Their kiddos stole my heart! They are sooooo adorable. My hubby and I have been thinking we are done having babies, but with one girl and two boys I keep thinking about how fun it would be to have one more girl {if only we could have a guarantee of a girl!! LOL} And then this cutie shows up looking just like my little B and she charmed me! I hope you have as much fun looking at their images as I did taking them!!!
