I was totally inspired. . .

When I went to the workshop in March, and then again when I got together with some of my photography friends where, discussed direction in photography and shared some ideas about things we are learning. It never ceases to amaze me how amazing all the artisistic people are that share this photography community. Truly amazing people! I myself have a continued flow of ideas come out of me that I can not even possibly get done with out a babysitter, house keeper, and personal driver! Take this blog for instance. It is totally LAME and unsinpiring. . . . blah. And only because I am in the process of recreating another blog and website that will better display my vision. So it will be AWSOME soon! And I also apologize for the lack of posting. I will do better.

This weekend I am shooting a wedding in Tahoe on the beach and I also have about 5 sessions that still should be blogged!

And I still have NOT posted anything about the NICHOLE VAN WORKSHOP. . . .

so here they are right now.

Nichole was amazing, she was nice friendly and totally real. Every detail of the workshop was planned out from the AMAZING FOOD to the tiny button flowers and magnets she made for the workshop book & name tags!!! {details make me happy!!!}

I also met an amazing group of women.

The day Nichole taught us lighting techniques, we shot with some beautiful models who were troopers!!! we shot till dark and I got so many amazing images.

here are just a few.

This was shot with two alien bees of camera lighting triggered by a pocket wizard attached to my camera. So amazing to get that sunburst and exposure perfect for the back ground and have my subject perfectly lighted. This shot is almost SOOC!!! just a little color boost.

I was so excited about the things I learned and get to implement into my photography. I have even seen a big change in my sessions since I have been home.

Little "B" is getting so big. you might remember him from THIS session. I love a sunset session in a field with Beautiful people.

I have really been enjoying spring here in Nor Cal, Unfortunately a little too much. I have been hanging out with my kids, going to the park, doing projects, and spring cleaning. And NOT blogging!!! LOL, but I really need to!

I have so much to share.

I am getting really excited about some great stuff coming up. I am also very excited to post many of the sessions I have had the last Month or so.

Oh My!

MY MY MY!!! what a boring blog this has been. SO Sorry to leave you hanging like this..... I am dying to share some of the photos from my workshop. Nichole Van was Amazing. But this week I got sick after I came home, and you know how you need a vacation from your vacation.... well nuff said! I will be posting soon though and you can expect some other big changes and giveaways from KeriAnn Photography in the next few weeks! to get a sneak peak you can see my facebook page. GUESS WHAT!!!

I am getting so excited!!! In one week from today I will leaving for a workshop with Nicole Van. My mother in law will be watching the kids and i will be kidless and having fun for 3 whole days!!! I am beyond words excited to learn some new things to share with my clients.

Aslo I will be in UTAH for this event and can't wait because I will be there for a whole week afterward hangin' with friends and family. {so if you wanna hang email me!!!} SPRING BREAK ROCKS!!!!

Hello blogger world! and fellow photographers.... I know you share my sentiment when I say I love to take pictures! I love to learn and to meet people and create some art with images. It is my favorite! But you also know if you are a photographer that our clients have so many options when it comes to photographers because everyone has a good camera these days and wants to "be a photographer" which is totally GREAT!!! live your dreams and be AWSOME!

But it is a lot of work, just like any other business. It's hard work!!! I have a dear friend who is an AMAZING photographer, she is so gifted. Spring comes Early in NorCal!

I LOVE that in Feb. the trees start blooming. It might be wet, but it's green and I adore it. What makes it even better is the beautiful background it creates! how lucky I was we had such a beautiful tree that MOM had scouted out for a perfect backdrop to their beautiful family.

Little miss Charolette is ADORABLE.

I heart the softness as closeness of the tree images. So sweet.
