Photographing Newborns is one of my favorite things.  They are so fresh and innocent,  there is so much excitement and love surrounding their arrival into the world!!

I was so happy I got to capture some of that for this sweet family.  Big brother and sister love their little  brother...

Night "owl"

With the coming of a new school year comes a welcome of schedules! I LOVE THIS about the school year. Only given the fact that the kids start school so early, I must go to bed early!!! I am a "Night Owl" LOL! I keep saying this is going to happen and I fail, but it MUST! no more late night editing sessions. Hopefully since my littlest is in preschool 3 days a week I will find some time during the day to work.

Well this last month my dear friend Jyl at Cherub Chic sent me a package of fun!! She makes AMAZING hand made photo props and just plain cute hats and other things. It was like Christmas opening my little box. I was just so happy to see this cute little owl hat, and knew it would be perfect for my newborn Elle, or other wise known by her nickname "OWL" ;) just look at how cute it is. Jyl also made the cute little head band with the flower on it too. I have more of her stuff to post from other sessions. Those to come.

I love how tiny and squishy she is. I Love being able to capture such sweet little moments. I did this session and the last one in the clients home. Posing newborns are still a work in progress for me. I need some more to work with. It takes time to pose sooth and then take the photo, but in the end it is shots like these that make it all worth it. You would never know that just before these shots she was crying and just seconds after it she woke up!!!! :)

This is a favorite of mine from my session today! oh to have a newborn a gain! I have been doing so many family sessions lately it was such a treat to be with this little guy. It made me sosososo baby hungry. mmmm they are so yummy, It was so sweet to watch his mom and dad with their new addition!

Janet....call me! I will snuggle little guy anytime.

Oh, how I love babies! My little guys is two and getting sooooo big. SO when I take photos of little guys like this I start to realize just how big my kids are getting!

I loved Nikolas's cute outfits and the smiles, when we could get them. most of the time he was like "who are you, and why am I on this log?" haha. but oh did they turn out cute!

Meet Hunter

This image was fun to do and something I have been dying to try
{in the cheesecloth}. I just Luv Anne Geddes. It is amazing she gets the babies to do what she gets them to do. New borns take time and patients! But I do love how this turned out. Even though he peed all over my floor!! LOL

little Mikey

this is my blue eyed tow headed nephew. what a cutie. He is such a sweet baby!
He is named after my father-in-law who is in our prayers today because he is in surgery and has had us all scared the past few weeks. We all Love you Dad.

Little Mikey was so much fun in this shoot. I love this age when they are alert but can't yet crawl around! pure BLISS!!
