Mr. {HEARTBREAKER}

Oh my! does it get cuter than this little guy? He is one, and he is a heartbreaker. Loved the camera and was a good sport through the whole shoot. He and I had such fun, he slimed my lens with cupcake frosting and gave me the biggest most adorable hug before I left.

Here they are in all their adorableness!! what a magical session this was. Who cares if we were scratched up from the weeds, Vanessas ankle almost broken from the pot holes, and Hot cause it was 100 degrees. . . it was soooo WORTH it!

I did this family last year and it was so fun to see how much their kids have grown.

Alter Ego?

Hi guys!

Did you see the Americas next top model/ or real houswives of Atlanta, where they did the alter ego photoshoots? If you have not, I will tell you what it is. So you think of yourself and who you are... like for instance I would be conservative, christian, crafty, soccer mom, {kinda boring to some... but I do love my life!} anyway so my alter ego per say would be a high class fashionable/sexy/no kid/ powerful executive. And In my alter ego shoot I would dress both parts and do two shoots that are merged in a final image....

Very cool!

One of my clients is working on one of these, I hopefully will be shooting this session in a month or so with her and 4 of her friends.. it should be a blast and test my photography skills. Just so you can get an idea of what I am talking about you can see the images by Derek Blanks who specializes in these, he does an amazing job! I just hope my photoshop skills are up for the challenge.

Part of photography that I LOVE is getting to know families and there different dynamics. It really does not matter if you are adopted, step, half, or years apart. family is special. I was given the opportunity to photograph this father and his two boys, and although they are like 19 years apart, that brotherly bond is there. I loved watching the connection with this family as I spent time with them. Thanks Chris, I had a great time with your family.
We originally were going to old Sacramento to do an Urban session, but we had to change plans due to something going on downtown, we ended up at the capitol which was fine by me. I actually really like it there. It was a beautiful evening and I got some great images. It was also fun to start working again after taking some time during and after our move.
